Notification Templates

Gotransverse can be configured to send information to customers or internal users when a certain event triggers an action. Gotransverse provides you with notification templates for you to customize for your use. You can design as many of your own notification templates as you need based on the provided templates.

You can also add a new version of the template in another language. Once you have selected the preferred language on the account or account category, you can add localized versions of notification templates in the desired language. For more information about adding languages to your tenant, refer to Languages Module.

Gotransverse includes the following notification templates:

NOTE: Fragment templates are templates that you define; they are not provided to you. Fragments are reusable pieces that you can reference in other email templates; for example, a signature or your company logo.You can select to use the fragment in a notification template for the Product Sale, Invoice, and Payment emails.

Notification Templates
Template Description

Authentication

Used for customer authentication in the application.

Bill Batch Run

Used to notify your customer about the status of their bill batch run.

These templates are used with Bill Batch email notifications.

Bill Cycle Run

Used to notify your customer about the status of their bill cycle run.

These templates are used with the bill cycle run actions in the Rating & Billing application.

Billing Account

Used to send notifications to your customer about their billing account based on billing account actions.

These templates are used with Account email notifications.

Refer to Configure Email Operation for Account Notifications.

Counter

Used to notify your customer on the status of their counter actions.

These templates are used with Counter email notifications, which are accessed from the Services section for an account in the Accounts application.

Credit Adjustment

Used to notify your customer when a Credit Adjustment has been processed. These templates are used with the Credit Adjustment (one of the Payment notifications). You can create a PDF template for a credit memo attachment.

Dunning

Used to send notifications to your customer for Dunning Actions, such as Dunning Plan tier changes.

These templates are used with the Dunning email notifications.

Fragment

Templates that you define that are reusable pieces that you reference in other email templates. For example, a signature or your company logo. In the notification templates you can then select the fragment for use in the Product Sale, Invoice, and Payment emails.

Invoice

Used for email notifications sent to your customer when your customer’s invoice is ready. The PDF version of the invoice is attached to the email. Gotransverse provides you with one predefined Invoice Notification Template.

These templates are used with the Invoice Notifications, which can be accessed from either the Notification Management Module or the Rating & Billing application’s Billing Management Module.

Payment

Used for email notification sent to your customer when your customer's credit card or bank account is successfully charged for an auto-recurring payment or a one-time payment.

These templates are used with the Payment notifications, which are accessed from either the Notification Management Module or the Receivables application’s Payment Rules and Actions Module.

Payment Plan

Used to send notifications to your customer when their Payment Plan is created in draft, activated, completed, or canceled.

These templates are used with Payment Plan notifications.

Product Sale

Used for Product Actions when the order is in progress or when it completes. Gotransverse provides you with one predefined Product Sale notification template (one of the Payment notifications).

These templates are used with the Product email notifications.

Refund

Used for email notifications sent to customers to inform them that a refund has been processed.

These templates are used with the Refund (one of the Payment notifications) email notification.

SVS GLAS

Used to send notifications to your customer when an SVS register has a negative balance or negative ordered amount so they can manually submit contributions to make it positive.

These templates are used with the SVS email notifications.

SVS Register

Used to notify your customer about their current Register balance status. For example, if customers want to be notified when their balance is below zero, they will receive notifications as long as the balance equals or is lower than the specified value.

These templates are used with the SVS email notifications.

Sales Order

Used for email notification to send your customer a receipt for their purchase or renewals. Gotransverse provides you with two predefined Sales Order notification templates.

These templates are used with the Sales Order email notifications.

Scheduled Payment

Used to send notifications to your customer about upcoming or overdue scheduled payments in their Payment Plan.

These templates are used with the Scheduled Payment (one of the Payment Plan notifications) email notifications.

Service

Used for email notification sent to persons, such as third parties, to inform them that a customer has ordered or changed Service.

These templates are used with the Product email notifications can be configured from the Products application’s Product Catalog Module (refer to Product Actions), as well as from the Notification Management Module (refer to Configure Email Operation for Product Action).

Service CFV

Used to notify your customers when the variable of a custom field changes.

System

Used to notify customers about the following system actions:

  • BillCycleRun — When a bill cycle run moves to any of the following statuses: Failed, Completed, Simulation Completed, or Approved.

  • EndOfContractJob — When Change Agreement, Change Service, Renew Agreement, or Renew Service for Subscription actions are executed.

  • EndOfContractJob — When there is a Tenant Tax Configuration error.

  • ProcessAutoRecurringPaymentsJob — When there is no payment processor for BillingAccountRecurringPayment.

Usage Rule

Used to notify customers that they are near or have met their usage commitment.

These templates are used with the Usage Rule email notifications.
