Services

A service is product that has been ordered by the customer. Services are displayed on the customer's Account Details window in the Services section. When the list of services exceeds a set number of records, Gotransverse displays services using pagination and a drill down function similar to other data sections.

To view more information about a service, click the service name to open the Service Details window, which includes several sections with details about the service. Refer to View Service Details for more information about this window.

A service preceded by a closed hierarchy icon icon indicates that the service has related items. Click the icon to expand the service to view related items or service resources.

Services can also be managed in the Customer Billing application. Refer to Services Module for more information on working with Services in the Customer Billing application.

You can add or update several details about a service, including:

  • Add an agreement

  • Add, post, or apply a service adjustment.

  • Add a discount.

  • Add usage counters to manage a customer’s usage of a purchased service.

  • Change the service to another service.

  • Change the quantity.

  • Suspend or resume service.

  • Edit the short description.
