Posting Rule Templates

Posting rule templates are used in the Revenue Management application’s Setup module to create a posting rule (refer to Create Posting Rules in the Revenue Management section of this user guide).

When you create a posting rule, you may first select a Trigger that will narrow the posting rule templates from which you can select. If you know all or part of the template name, you may start typing in the Posting Rule Template field to also narrow the list.

Triggers are separated into the following categories:

• Adjustment Trigger Posting Rule Templates

• Completion Trigger Posting Rule Templates

• Deactivation Trigger Posting Rule Templates

• Invoice Trigger Posting Rule Templates

• Order Trigger Posting Rule Template

• Other Trigger Posting Rule Templates

• Payment Trigger Posting Rule Templates

• Revenue Recognition Trigger Posting Rule Templates

• Service Period Creation Trigger Posting Rule Templates

• Unbilled Creation Trigger Posting Rule Template
