Edit Stored Value Register

You may want to edit a stored value register to:

  • Setup or change the auto-top up processing for the register if the customer wants auto-top up processing.

  • Set the notification thresholds for the register, which set the values of the register balance where stored value notifications can be triggered.

Registers are managed in the Products application. Refer to Register Types Module for more information about managing registers.

Complete the following steps to edit details about a stored value register for a billing account:

  1. Select Customer Billing from the Gotransverse application menu Module menu icon.

    You may see a Customers and an Accounts tab or just the Accounts window, depending on the value for the Allow Multi-Customer Accounts Billing system setting. Refer to System Settings for more information about configuring system settings.

  2. Select a customer from the list or search for a customer from the Search field to open the Customer Summary window.

    To quickly access a customer or billing account, click thequick search icon icon on the title bar (on either the Customers or Accounts window) and enter part of the customer or billing account name. If you do not see the Accounts tab, you can still search for a billing account from the Customers window by entering part of the number in the Search field. You can also bookmark regularly-used pages. Refer to Search Feature for more information.

    Click the collapse icon icon in the left pane to hide it. Click the icon to open it.

    You can manage which columns display in any table with a Configure or Columns button by clicking the button and selecting desired columns. In addition. If the table includes a Filter button, you can filter the table contents. If the table includes an Export button, you can export visible table contents (up to 50) to a CSV (comma-separated values) file. Refer to Data Tables for more information about using these features.

  3. On the Customer Summary window, select an account under the Accounts detail tab to open the Account Details window.

  4. Click the More drop-down menu and select Stored Value Registers to open the Stored Value Registers window.

  5. On the Stored Value Registers window, click the under the Actions column and select Edit Register to open the Edit Register Details window.

  6. On the Edit Register window, complete the required and relevant information:

  7. Required fields are marked with an asterisk.

    • Auto Contribution Threshold* — The current value of the price limit on the prepaid balance that triggers when an auto contribution is made. Edit value as needed.

    • Auto Contribution Amount — The current value of a one-time contribution product that is charged against the customer’s credit card. Edit value as needed.

    • Granted Value* — The current value that is available to use in the register. Edit value as needed.

    • Auto Contribution Product* — The name of the product with this register. If available, select another product from the drop-down list.

    • Overdraft Amount — By default this value is set to zero, but it allows a user to configure on a per register basis the ability for the application to process pre-paid usage events past zero to the value set here for this specific register

    • Notification Threshold — Stored value notifications can be configured as part of the Gotransverse Action Framework to be triggered when a register balance crosses a specific threshold value (refer to Notification Management Module in the Setup section). This section of the Edit Register window allows you to set specific threshold values for an individual register. These threshold levels should be set based on the following rules:

      • Yellow level must be greater than Orange level.

      • Yellow level must be set before Orange level.

      • Orange level must be greater than Red level.

      • Orange level must be set before Red level.

  8. Click Edit Register to save changes.
