Discounts Module

The Discounts module in the Products application manages discounts and discount codes for products.

Product discounts and discount codes enable you to handle promotions while controlling the duration that discounts can be applied. Refer to Product Discounts Knowledge Base article for more information about product discounts.

Product discounts include two parts: the discount and the discount code.

You must have created a Discount Code to apply a discount to a product during the order process.

  • Discount — Sets the amount of discount you would like to apply to a product price during the order process. The discount can be to reduce the product price by either a percentage of the product price or a fixed amount.

  • Discount Code — Associates a discount with one or more products. A discount code can only be associated with Subscription and add -on products, and the product must be unique. You can also configure how long the discount code is available and how many times the discount can be applied. You enter a Discount Code if you want to apply a discount to a product price during the order process.
