Usage Module

Gotransverse provides a flexible and powerful rating engine for rating and evaluating customer activity (usage events). For example, Gotransverse can support a Subscription service that includes an initial start-up price and an adjustable fee based on the amount of data used.

Before usage events can be created when activity occurs on an account, the following conditions must be met:

• The account must have an active Subscription service with usage rules configured for that service.

• The activity or event itself must be sent to Gotransverse with an SRID (Service Resource Identifier) that has been assigned to the service.
