Search for Order

Use the Order Search module to search for orders. From the search results, you can view additional information about the order and the account.

You can also search for an order from the Account Search module. Refer to Account Search Module for more information.

Complete the following steps to search for an order:

  1. Select Accounts from the Gotransverse application menu Module menu icon.

  2. Click Order Search in the left pane.

  3. Enter search criteria in one or more of the following order fields:

    • Order # — Enter the order number.

    • SKU # — Enter the SKU code of a product that is included in the order

    • PO # — Enter a customer's purchase order number.

    • Account # — Enter the billing account number.

    • Serial Number — Enter the serial number of the device that is associated with the order.

    • Referral — Enter a person, company, or website that referred the customer to your company.

    • Order Status — Select an order status from the drop-down list. Refer to Order Statuses.

      • All: Shows all existing order statuses. This is the default choice.

      • Completed: Shows completed orders.

      • Draft: Shows orders that have been started but not completed. A billing account has not been created and the order has been saved to be completed later.

      • In Progress: Shows orders that are pending approval. A billing account has been created, but the order was not completed because a product in the order requires approval.

      • Canceled: Shows orders that were canceled, either before or after completion.

    • Order type — Select one of the following:

      • All: Shows all existing order types. This is the default choice.

      • Sales Order: Shows orders that are initial sales and not renewals.

      • Change Order: Shows orders with a history of a change or changes after the sale.

      • Renewal Order: Shows orders that are renewals of agreements.

    • Additional Order Data — Select an option from the drop-down list if your configuration includes custom fields.

  4. Click Search to display the search results. Alternatively, click Clear to delete the search criteria and search results.

    If needed, refine your search to narrow the results. Refer to Order Search Using Wildcard.

  5. Click one of the following active links in a column to view details or perform actions related to the order:

    • Order # — Click the order number to open the order details. Refer to View Order Details for more information about this window.

    • Account # — Click the account number to open the billing account details. Refer to Billing Account Details for more information about this window.

    • Actions — Click Void Order to void a Draft order. Click Yes in the confirmation window.

      If you want to use Order Search to void draft orders, select Draft in the Order Status drop-down list.
