Invoice Details Report Details

The Invoice Details report shows specific information about a single invoice or multiple invoices. This report gives you insight into how many invoices you have captured over time and the dollar amounts that was generated along with the balance status of the invoices.

The Invoice Details report is a standard report located in the Billings folder of the Reporting Tool found in either the Standard Reports or Reporting applications. The default sort order for this report is by account name for details and all invoices are grouped by the days outstanding. The following table describes the output columns in this report:

Invoice Details Output Fields
Column Description
Account Name

Name of the person or company associated with this account.

Account #

Unique customer account number.

Invoice #

Unique identifier for the invoice.

Invoice Amount

Dollar amount charged to and owed by the customer.

Invoice Date

Date on which the invoice was posted.

Due Date

Date on which the customer owes the invoiced charges.

Invoice Balance

The amount due as calculated on the invoice.

Invoice Status

The status of the invoice:

  • Processing — The invoice is in progress of being processed.

  • Open — The invoice is NOT paid and is still open and available.

  • Closed — The invoice is paid.

Invoice Item Description

The product description that was entered when the product was created.

Invoice Item Price

The price per product sold.

Invoice Item Amount

The quantity of product sold.

Charge Start Date

The service period start date.

Charge End Date

The service period end date.

Invoice Item Charge Amount

The price of each product on the Invoice.

Charge Category

The configured category used to group charges.

Charge Balance

The balance after any payments have been processed, such as automatic payments.
