Scheduling

Schedules allow running Integrations or Extracts at a given interval. When creating a schedule users need to specify either an Extract or an Integration and Configuration as well as a cron. Optionally, e-mail addresses can be setup to get notified when a scheduled run is created or transitions to an inactive state.

Scheduled runs have no Run Properties and empty Data Filters. In the case of an Extract, they select all data or use the Rolling Date Range. For Integrations, all outstanding tracked records get picked up, unless excluded by any Source Filters on the Configuration.

Schedules are managed in the Run Manager Module of the GT-Connector application.

Cron

The cron determines the interval on which the specified Extract or Integration will run.

  • The cron specified needs to have 6 elements (some crons support 5, omitting seconds) - for example: 0 0 0 1 * ?.

  • Online tools like Crontab generator - Free online tool can help defining the appropriate value.

E-mail Notifications

The list of e-mail addresses to which to send notifications.

Notifications are triggered when a scheduled run reaches any of the selected states.
