Tax Management
The Tax Management application includes two modules:

Exemption Management — If your tenant is integrated with the Avalara Communications Tax Calculation software, provides a way to exempt the needed billing accounts from either state or federal taxes. The tax exemption functionality is implemented through Tax Exemption Groups that specify the exemption information to be applied to the billing account. To configure your Tax Exemption Group, you have to associate it with tax exemption details. Once you configure a Tax Exemption Group, you can assign it to a billing account, which essentially defines a customer's tax exemption status.
You must be integrated with the Avalara Communication Tax Calculation software to use the Tax Exemption module. For more information about adding the software, contact your Gotransverse account manager or Gotransverse Technical Support. Tax Essentials — If your tenant is using the Gotransverse Tax Essential (External Tax) tax processor, the Tax Essentials module allows you to store customer-defined tax rates for orders and invoices based on an array of criteria.
