Line Numbers

The Line Number is specified to generate a value for the line_number Source Field and to create the records in a given order. The order can either be ascending or descending with respect to a Source Field. There can be multiple keys mentioned for sorting order, with their respective directions of sort. Multiple sorting orders are applied in their sequence of appearance within the order list.

It is not possible to sort by a value that gets aggregated. Therefore, Source Fields used in the line ordering will act as Aggregation Keys.
