The GTV Reporting application contains over 80 standard reports provided by GTV as well as any custom and user-created reports. These reports leverage the billing data in GTV to provide insight into the health of your business. For example, the Service Detail Report, a standard report, lists any service upgrades and downgrades for a designated time period which can help you identify trends over time.
Reports are organized into folders, and frequently used reports can be saved as favorites which are available when you first open the Reporting application. Reports can be scheduled to run on a future date or on a recurring schedule making it faster to access frequently needed reports.
Before running a report, you can select report parameters to filter the report results. You can then view the results in a preview window or export the results as a PDF, Excel, or CSV format. The image below shows the report parameters available when running an AR Aging Detail report and the preview of the results after selecting View Report.
Any report can be scheduled to run at a future date and, once completed, retrieved from a report folder. Scheduled reports can be emailed to you, as well. For example, if you always run the accounting report Trial Balance on the 1st of the month, you can schedule the report to run monthly on the 1st and email you when it finishes running.
Available Report Types
Three types of reports are available in the reporting application: Standard Reports, Custom Reports, and User-created Reports.
Standard reports are created to complement the GTV platform and are included out-of-the-box with the Reporting application.

Custom Reports are created by GTV when a standard report doesn’t meet your needs. For example, if you add a custom field to a billing account, a standard report, like the Account Details Report, will not include the custom field data. A custom report can be created that modifies a standard report to your needs. You can submit custom report requests to GTV Support.
User-created reports are available when you want to design a report. You can create three kinds of reports: analysis, interactive, or dashboard. Each user-created report offers a unique way to design and display data from the GTV billing platform. Once a user-created report is saved, it can be scheduled to run like other reports.
- Analysis reports display summarized data similar to a pivot table. You can create analysis reports for usage, invoices, orders, and payments.
- Interactive reports display detailed lists of data. You can create interactive reports from several data sources, including but not limited to accounts, invoices, order management, and bill cycle KPIs.
- Dashboard reports display a visual representation of report data through charts and graphs.
Gotransverse also offers Premier Data Access. Using either Snowflake, your preferred tool, or a SQL tool with a Snowflake connector, you can query and view large volumes of your GTV data like product catalog, tax, and payment data. Alternatively, you can receive data extracts from GTV, which are predefined downloads of your GTV data. Export of the data is ideal for data-driven businesses that require additional reporting capabilities and may want to import the GTV data into their own data lake, like GCS or Redshift.
To open Reporting, select Reporting from the Gotransverse action menu . The application displays the Reporting home page.
