Split AR Transactions

You can split an AR transaction into two or more new transactions (up to 50) while they are still open (Ready for Processing status). Each new transaction that is created from the original (parent) transaction is considered a child transaction. After splitting the parent transaction, you will not be able to post it. However, you can revert the split if none of the child transactions have yet posted.

Each child transactions can be edited, including selecting a Billings Account, Account Category, and Payment Application.
